The Vertical High Frequency Chest Wall Oscillation (HFCWO) System utilizes High-Frequency Chest Wall Oscillation technology. The main unit generates high-frequency air pulses through rapid inflation and deflation. These air pulses are transmitted via a tube to inflate an air-filled vest (or chest wrap), producing oscillations that compress the chest cavity at specific frequencies. This process facilitates rapid airflow through the lung lobes and airways, promoting the loosening, liquefaction, and dislodgement of secretions deep within the respiratory tract and pulmonary regions. As a result, mucus is moved from the bronchi into the central airways, where it can be expelled from the body through coughing or artificial suction, thus achieving therapeutic effects.
