Dual Channel Hand-held Percussion Device for Airway Clearance

  Working principle:   

According to the principles of chest physical therapy and postural drainage, targeted physical percussion applies a therapeutically directed force that cyclically changes in a specific direction on the body surface. This directional therapeutic force has strong penetrative ability, capable of passing through the skin, muscles, tissues, and body fluids. Its vertical component generates percussion and vibrations that loosen and liquefy mucus and metabolites on the respiratory mucosa. Its horizontal component provides directional pushing and vibrations, assisting the liquefied mucus in being expelled along the selected pathway (bronchioles → bronchi → trachea).

2. Patients with an artificial airway requiring mechanical ventilation.  

3. Acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), atelectasis, or abdominal infection.  

4. Elderly, debilitated, or long-term bedridden patients.  

5. Patients with bronchiectasis or cystic fibrosis accompanied by significant sputum production.  

6. Post-surgical patients experiencing pain-induced difficulty in breathing and coughing.  

7. Pediatric pneumonia, coma, myasthenia gravis, or occupational lung diseases.
